Dr. Diana Vazquez
Dr. Vazquez is a trusted dentist near Uptown who enjoys working with people who desire healthier smiles. Being able to help solve their problems and improve their health and confidence are just a few of the many reasons she is pleased to provide exceptional services at Soleil Dental.
While in high school, she shadowed a dental office and assisted the local doctor. Being able to help tend to the needs of elementary school patients allowed her to experience what would later become her future career. Her firsthand exposure to dentistry set her on a path to pursue it at Baylor College of Dentistry, where she earned her dental degree.
Gaining experience in pedodontics, removable prosthetics, restorative treatments, and oral surgery, she has since completed high-level training and earned certifications for nitrous oxide sedation, level 1 oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, and straight-wire orthodontics.
She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
When she’s not in the office helping patients, she’s spending time with her husband, Joel, whom she met in college. Recently welcoming their first child, Emma, she enjoys taking walks and listening to audiobooks as well as traveling.
Dr. Jose Aldana
Creating caring environments for his patients is exactly what Dr. Jose Aldana aims to do. As a dentist near Uptown who appreciates the supportive nature of his colleagues at Soleil Dental, he is glad that he chose dentistry many years ago.
As a child, he and his friend dreamed of attending dental school one day. With his friend’s uncle being a dentist, he was introduced to this world early on, sparking a passion within him to pursue the same path.
After attending the University of North Texas for his undergraduate studies, he went on to attend the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, earning his dental degree. Taking multiple courses to expand and hone his skills, he is able to perform various treatments in his position at Soleil Dental. He is trained in dental implant placement, wisdom tooth extractions, orthodontics, and molar endodontics.
He also maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He’s also participated in training at the Pankey Institute and SPEAR Education.
Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, you can find Dr. Aldana spending his time traveling to experience various cultures and cuisines.
